I personally think thats wrong, I just went through Traveler's Vale, and I pulled every mob that patrolled(couldnt pull the stationary mobs) with a longbow. In other words, it seems you can pull any patrol, you just cant pull the stationary groups if their out of your aggro. Can anyone else confirm this? --[[User:Mwpeck|Mwpeck]] 02:09, 20 April 2007 (CDT)

:Yes, that is the same thing I saw (I put note on the page). Any mob that moves before you get in their aggro can be pulled. Non-moving mobs (not patrol) ''can not be pulled'', unless (or until) you enter their aggro. If you stay out of their aggro and attack with bows, they happily sit still until they are dead. As it is currently, a few Barrage/int rangers could wipe these mobs with no problems at all, as long as they kill the healer first (they will heal while in the weird mode). Loot Scales with Party Size

Hard Mode Drok Run anyone? Loot scales with party size - er, solo farm now drops 1/8th the loot? Queen Schmuck 23:24, 19 April 2007 (CDT)

Oh, you can claim any Sunspear/Lightbringer bounty anywhere in Elona in hard mode. Now, if only it automatically gave you bounties while in missinos, it would be nice (would help the 50k grind). Queen Schmuck 23:37, 19 April 2007 (CDT)
1/8th loot would suck SOO much.--Dice 23:45, 19 April 2007 (CDT)
So i tried solo farming post-update. its dead. once again, A-net Punishes thought and individuality by destroying an excellent concept. expect prices on ecto, shards, stygian gems and tormented gems to go back up again. and titans most likly too. thanks a whole bunch anet. -TehBuG-
But on the flip side, 8-man teams (presumably) will be getting more loot than ever before. It's an effective kill to farming, and an incentive to make friends, do PUGs, get a group. Which is fine with me - farming killed the economy, to be honest. And now you can actually maybe turn a real profit during normal PvE! Entropy Sig (T/C) 23:50, 19 April 2007 (CDT)
Indeed, have been noticing GW become increasingly more anti-social recently (ie, ppl less inclined towards "full" teams, or focusing on so-called solo-builds), many different factors contributed to it, but if this encourages more teams to form up and do things together, is all for the better in the long run. Update Size?

Hard Mode Fun

May this be a warning to others. I was happily trying Hard Mode in Gyala Hatchery (explorable) when we hit a tree, more precisely, Soulwhisper, Elder Guardian who was now a nice level 30 who seemed to be able to keep up Weapon of Shadow for more than 15s and hit for more than 400 with Spirit Boon Strike. So yeah, Hard Mode + Boss 2x damage = Lots of Pain. Lets say I won't be trying to go against a SF boss in NF soon. --Theeth Assassin (talk) 00:33, 20 April 2007 (CDT)

I just got pwned in Plains of Jarin. I also got a crap Green from a lvl 20+ boss there. I also noticed I could kill the entire boss' mob with a bow (W with longbow and Jin with Composite), and they never attacked my party (was trying to pull them, they just stood there and died).
Now to test if all NPCs have been bumped in level. I've already noticed a lvl 23 Impressive Warthog. I really hope the mission NPCs are buffed too. Queen Schmuck 00:41, 20 April 2007 (CDT)

Mob skills

Nearly every monster in the game will most likely need updated with Hard Mode skills, as I just got hit with ~300 dmg Grenth's Balance from a lvl 22 Skale Blighter. Might want to bring a prot monk in even low level areas now... Queen Schmuck 00:46, 20 April 2007 (CDT)

Possible Error

the mob is not in your aggro (they don't "see" you, even while you are attacking them)
