lololol nerfed raven --Macros 04:49, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

They seem to have fixed the bug that let you switch weapon sets in the BMP missions. -- mechasoupx 05:06, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

So, all us old player get are lockpick drops in normal mode? Not quite what I expected, but still better than nothing I suppose... -User:PanSola (talk to the Follower of Lyssa.png) 06:00, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Easy mode[]

Is Anet just putting on the easy mode so more people will buy GW:EN? Disscuss: RT | Talk 06:51, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Let the powerlvling begin... --- VipermagiSig.JPG -- (s)talkpage 06:56, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Wtf? It hasn't required any effort to get to level 20 since prophecies, why couldn't they spend time fixing a real problem?--Sefre Sefresig.jpgTalk*Cont. 07:09, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

The way I see it, it's going to impact prohpices right up to desert. People will level quickly because of killing mobs for lvl 20's and getting exp aas if they were lvl 10, this will mean that they are overpowered when they continue down prohpicies. RT | Talk 07:15, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
What I said, is your fear. BE VEWYY AFWAID! --- VipermagiSig.JPG -- (s)talkpage 07:17, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Does anyone even play prophecies below RoF islands? All I ever see in a outpost along the road is "LF RUN", never: "LFG MISSION", Anyways it's still stupid, they should of spent the effort elsewhere. Like for content 99.9% of the lvl 20 characters in game.
Or at least pay attention to that mess they made out of Hero battles, still waiting for something non-game breaking from there...--Sefre Sefresig.jpgTalk*Cont. 07:22, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
If I play Prophecies I either: Run myself, or: Do the missions. They're damn easy, but laid-back iz gud in this case :) --- VipermagiSig.JPG -- (s)talkpage 07:23, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
I like proph missions too because of the laid back attitude. RT | Talk 07:24, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

I can't believe that they opened up EotN to lower level characters. The entire point of the expansion was to add content to those players ALREADY familiar with the game, and add more challenging areas. All this has done now is as was said before by vipermagi, powerleveling. And possibly an easier time with survivor title. Do they also get Vekk and Ogden as lvl 20 heroes, if they are only level 10? All in all, just irritated they way they are opening it up like that. Isk8.pngIsk8 13:28, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

I agree, i think Anet's aiming to just satisfy the newbies rather than the long-term players, a decision which they're going to regret since GW2's population is going to be based on those who have been playing for a long time. The only good part about this update is the "don't feed the dwarf" sign and the zaishen chest. And even still, i think they could improve on the Zaishen chest thing, a seemingly out of place chest in isle of the nameless that requires a key you can't get in isle of the nameless seems... stupid.--Darksyde Never Again 17:22, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Well, judging from the login announcement, it's only a temporary thing anyway. Or at least it should be, if not then yes it really is stupid. But I'm pretty sure it's temporary. Discobadger 19:06, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Hey, here's a question: What happens if you're using Kerrsh's Staff? --Gimmethegepgun 20:11, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Just read this : [1] TulipVorlax 20:33, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Am I reading this right that if you are below level 20 you'll have more stat points than possible via normal play? By my calculations, you can normally only have stats of 12/9/9/3. The patch notes say you get 12/9/9/9. By that, I might rather get a character to GWEN as low level as possible for the few extra attribute points so I can complete all those damned irritating hard mode quests (that they try calling normal/fun mode!) and missions everywhere. -- 21:12, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Actually, you can go 9/9/9/9 and then throw on some runes and headgear, or a ton of different combos and do that --Gimmethegepgun 21:30, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
The description sounded like those 12/9/9/9 would be the base before runes. But how you mention it sounds reasonable too. If someone could test it right now... -- 21:43, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Isn't this going to make the Survivor title less difficult too? Especially for Elonian-born characters, get to lvl:10 the usual survivor way, then jump into GW:EN as a pseudo-lvl:20 character and have access to higher XP rewarding creatures / quests etc? --Wolfie Wolfie sig.jpg (talk|contribs) 22:56, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
That's exactly why i didn't re-start my necro when he died. Survivor's lost most of its pretige now. Sit in a capitol for just half an hour and you'll see at least one "This Player has reached the title Legendary Survivor."-- 00:59, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
