Farming: Oola's Lab Dungeon[]
If you have GWEN, the golems in the dungeon Oola's lab in NM dropped about 12 runestones which salvage to 5-8 slabs each -- for me, that was about 85 slabs. It's easy to avoid most of the fights getting there (don't forget to take the quest from Blimm before you leave Rata Sum -- one word: Argh.) -- you have to fight like 6-7 mobs to get there, none of them all that tough in NM, most of the others can be bypassed or you can wait in some cases for them to move aside. - Carven effigies in the sulfurous wastes (NF) sometimes drop 11 at a time. Can also be done in HM to earn sunspear & Lightbringer points at the same time and it's safe and easy inside the jundu worms. Also a good spot to get glittering dust from the awakened dune carvers (sometimes drop 36 in one go)

- I'm currently pushing one of my other chars through factions when I rediscovered the Arborstone mission (Rescue the urn of St Victor) which is also a good place for granite. Stone carvings can be salvaged for 7/8 slabs and I had 12 drop from one of the stone warrior critters. Cyberhythm 10:54, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

I Found Farming outside Serenity Temple in HM is an easy way to farm for slabs.

Energy +10, Earth Dmg 11-22 (req 9 Earth Magic), Dmg +20% (customized), Halves Skill Recharge of Spells (Chance 20%).
