::::Well, they changed it. Kagno now collects a new token in exchange for any previous dragon mask. I know ANet is busy with GW2 just around the corner, but they could have had at least one guy making a new mask. [[User:Valkor Dreamling|Valkor Dreamling]] 09:23, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

::::: It takes a lot more than 1 guy to make a mask. You need a concept artist to come up with a new design that's different from all the previous masks, then a character artist to dumb it down to something the game can handle, then a costume/armor modeler to render it in 3D in the game engine, then a tester or two to make sure it look like it should on all character types and doesn't somehow make their head float a few inches above their neck, and probably a couple more people for steps I'm not thinking of. It's probably at least 100 hours of work to put a single piece of armor/costume into the game, which would have to be repeated for every new hat for every festival (i.e. 200 hours of work each for Halloween/Wintersday), compared to maybe 40 hours to draw a 2D item icon and reprogram Kagno, which would reduce to 10 hours to copy that framework to another festival. Frankly, it's no longer cost-effective for Anet to devote that many resources to GW1 anymore.

Is he here yet ?

Has anyone found him yet? I still need to get 2 masks for my chars :(

-Yeah, I'd like to know where he is too....

he's there! Alexanderpas Monk Talk 03:58, 6 July 2006 (CDT)

merged

i merged the two articles since they were featuring exactly the same content and made a redirect of Imperial_Supplymaster Alexanderpas Monk Talk 10:22, 5 July 2006 (CDT)

bad grammar?

The NPC text reads, "By His order, my task is to reward those who have gathered Jade Wind Orbs are rewarded." That doesn't sound right to me. I guess "my task is to reward those who have gathered Jade Wind Orbs." or "my task is to make sure that those who have gathered Jade Wind Orbs are rewarded." would be more correct. -- Gemini, 5 July 2006

Him speek gooder engrish? :P --Rainith 22:52, 5 July 2006 (CDT)

Wrong location?

The update text reads that the Supply Master will appear after the event, so I think his location will be the normal (though changed) location Shing Jea Monastery instead of the festival one. Arena Net will "delete" Kagno after the 7 days-"mask-changing-time" but not change the location again. I havent seen this "post-event" Monastery but I think it's without dragon masks and chinese lanterns. --Myko 07:28, 6 July 2006 (CDT)

De-stub?

Well, can we add anything to the article? I can't think of anything.....maybe it deserves to remove the stub status? --Torins 13:53, 9 July 2006 (CDT)

Smiting Staff = Monk profession

from the picture he has a Smiting Staff, does that mean he is a monk? we've gone along the same idea for other NPCs so I'm guessing he is a monk? --Jamie (Talk Page) 08:01, 14 July 2006 (CDT)

Past masks

Ok...I missed the demon mask trade-in. Theoretically, could I trade in the 250 Victory Tokens next event and get the demon mask?Sparticuz 23:21, 17 July 2007 (CDT)

Nope. Past masks are gone forever. If he comes again next year, he won't offer the demon mask *or* the dragon mask. -Auron 23:26, 17 July 2007 (CDT)
Has that been tested? Did anyone try to turn in 250 Jade Wind Orbs this time?Sparticuz 16:20, 18 July 2007 (CDT)
