This item is called "longbow" in game, not "long bow." --Fyren 03:57, 13 Aug 2005 (EST)
and its called "Long Bow" in the vP item selector. 3 2 1 fight
Edited[]
I took out the entry "The longbow has a slow refire speed and hits for less damage than a shortbow, but has a very long range." because:
- the "less damage than a shortbow" quote is inaccurate (it has the same max damage, 15-28; perhaps it does less *damage over time* due to its slow refire rate, but that's a subtly different thing) and
- the statistics/numbers as far as range, refire rate, etc are already all visible in the sidebar.
I hope that this person didn't go through and add useless fluff text of this sort on every bow... --Eudas 09:48, 9 May 2006 (CDT)
Dye for other longbow[]
Can someone show the dye for the feathered version of the longbow, please?
When dye is applied, the brown parts (not the silvery bits or the feathers) of an undyed feathered longbow change colour (as normal, as far as I know, though I have not tested fully) --Hugh 14:47, 8 October 2006 (CDT)
Skin[]
Why is this skin not in the wiki? I just noticed when i got this from the Regent Valley Defense quest.
Double Longbows[]
They are not listed (as far as I can see anyway) on any of the collectors list. Can someone tell me which collector has it. Thanks.
- uhm... when nothing is mentioned, a double bow is given out, i think... because thats the most common :) HJT 09:30, 18 August 2006 (CDT)
- Actually there's only one collector confirmed to offer double / split longbows, the rest are presumed to offer feathered bows. However Tyrian collectors offer Ascalon Bows, which use the same skin as double / split longbows. -- Gordon Ecker 23:46, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
Feathered Longbows[]
Can anyone tell me where I can Craft or Collect a feathered longbow I hate the split longbow skin and want a feathered one but neither collectors or weaponsmiths I can find will give me one.

I've only seen feathered longbows drop as loot so far, randomly. Happy hunting. 24.6.147.36 13:43, 16 December 2006 (CST)
Hard mode soloing?[]
Now that enemies do not attack unless they are in your aggro bubble (in hard mode), how's the possibility of a solo ranger (using a longbow) for farming different areas? Might take quite a long time for each area, but with patience, it'll be a step-by-step process for possibly every area in the game. Batty Lad
