Qustions: 1) Has anybody seen a Maguuma with foliage? 2) Are Vine Seeds the seeds of the Maguuma? --Tetris L 07:52, 23 October 2005 (EST)

Can you point me to the reference that this is what a Maguuma is? --Karlos 08:03, 23 October 2005 (EST)
The info that the Maguuma is a plant came from the description of Bloodstone Fen saying that "Not even the Maguuma will grow upon its [the Bloodstone's] surface." That the Maguuma is the plant shown in the picture is an assumption. It may actually be some other plant. But ask yourself: Which plant is most characteristic for the Maguuma Jungle area? This one is the only one that springs to my mind. --Tetris L 17:55, 23 October 2005 (EST)
The actual quote is, "Not even the voracious vegitation of the Maguuma will grow upon its surface." I would take that to mean that none of the plants (any sort of plant) of the jungle would grow on the Bloodstone. --Rainith 18:06, 23 October 2005 (EST)
Oh, crap, we should correct that quote then! >:[
The plant that I showed in the picture is actually called a "Stonewood Tree", as the description of Ventari's Refuge says. --Tetris L 18:18, 23 October 2005 (EST)
Quote fixed. Someone should probably go thru and check the rest of the quotes for accuracy. But I'm tired now, so I'll leave it to someone else.  :) --Rainith 18:33, 23 October 2005 (EST)
I suspected as much. Because the water is called "Fount of Maguuma," and it's highly unlikely that the water would be named after the tree. It seems the water is the source of excessive growth. Can you however get a picture that is not one third occupied by a warrior? :) Just soom in all the way, this way your character does not obstruct the screen cap. --Karlos 20:05, 23 October 2005 (EST)
I put the character there on purpose, for size comparison. It wasn't product placement for my guild's cape, really. --Tetris L 23:36, 23 October 2005 (EST)
I updated the picture with one that more obviously shows the size difference. Though I admit this is blatant product placement. The collector paid me handsomely to place him there. :) I also removed the reference about them being found mostly in the dry areas. they are all over tangle root and the falls. --Karlos 15:41, 24 October 2005 (EST)
