For the most part, a.net has nerfed more things than they have buffed things (namely skills and builds that rely on those skills). Thanks, a.nerf! --8765 23:09, 8 April 2006 (CDT)
Is there any known policy for Anet on what they consider should be nerfed an what shouldn't be nerfed?

- Necessity is the mother of all invention, as they say. The win/lose ratio of a given game determines how addictive it is; Anet's policy is unlikely to differ from standard game balance theory, but it has to be an evolutionary policy, responding to how players use a given skill. Alan Firehazard
