I don't really like the note. +40 armor means half damage no matter what your AL is, so depending how you look at it, it's not useful on warriors and more useful on squishies. --Fyren 11:15, 7 November 2005 (EST)
Well, my point was that since Mesmers, like all caster, have such weak armor to begin with, even +40 armor is unlikely to allow them to survive a vicious onslaught from, say, a Hammer Warrior or a Bladed Aatxe. It won't turn a squishy into a tank, but it will allow a tank to become a much more efficient tank, similar to how a Warrior using "Watch Yourself!" has a noticeable increase in defense, but his mesmer friend standing next to him will still only last a couple of hits if the enemy decides to attack him. If you can think of a better way to indicate this to the reader, please do so. 129.219.115.9
- How would this make a mesmer, "not be able to tank" Only calculating physical damage, warriors generally have 100-116 armor against physical, and are considered "tanks". Mesmers with +10 in stance and this have 110 armor against physical. With this skill, mesmers are comparable to a warrior when dealing with physical damage. - Any skill that you know from the campaign that the skill trainer is in will show up when you talk to them. --Rainith 23:29, 4 March 2007 (CST)
Perhaps, Merlus, you will have no comment once you have understood Rainith's response.
