Hmm, my ele never came across this quest in the Shattered Ravines. Even though she had the place 100% mapped. Then along came my lazy monk and he found the king and his guard and did the quest. My ele has since gone back and tried to find this king 3 times now, even retracing my monk's steps (coming in from Joko's Domain) and still no luck. I cannot even think of a single thing my monk has done that my ele has not. On the flip side, when I entered the Shattered Ravines the first time, I was with friends and was not mapping, so he may have been there the first time. The significance of the first time is that it's the only time that identically matches when my monk found him. --Karlos 03:42, 23 November 2006 (CST)

I'm pretty sure the reward for this quest is 500 experience and 50 gold. I'm almost sure I compared the two quests before accepting Destroy the Ungrateful Slaves. Perhaps it's been changed to an identical reward since I got Slaves. Can someone who hasn't completed it run to Jahnus real quick and confirm? GD Defender 16:39, 23 April 2007 (CDT)
