"will do 300 damage to nearby ordinary foes and 1900 damage to a single foe" — can someone clarify a bit on this? What's an ordinary foe, and what's the single foe here? -- Ledrug 17:21, 6 August 2006 (CDT)

I'm guessing ordinary means non-boss creatures. Cant be too sure. Also i'm bit unsure as to the part where "doesnt need to be held". I'm pretty sure you want to carry it around to recharge before using, as 1 mob alone wont take it from level 1->5 after you get it. : Amilo Robin Energy Surge 18:37, 17 August 2006 (CDT)
The "doesn't need to be held" refers to the fact that it will charge while on the ground. So if you drop it, it activates, and you leave it there for the duration of the battle, it will charge just from the battle it was used in. After picking it up, it will continue to gain a charge up to level 5, but the carrier can no longer use his/her hands until it is dropped. By leaving it on the ground during battle, everyone has their hands free. Oh, and the 1900 damage to a single foe refers to a special case, in which the final boss of the Boreas Seabed mission takes incredible damage from the spear. The 300 is the damage applied to any other critter in the game. --Thervold 18:57, 17 August 2006 (CDT)

Should we add this to the bug section: While doing the mission as a MESMER, I was using 2 +15 energy weapon/offhands. When I picked up the spear, it set my energy back to the normal amount (I think around 30) which is normal, but when I used Ether Signet to get my energy back up to normal quicker, my energy bugged and even when it said I had around 27 energy, the game would not let me cast spells saying "Not enough energy." I was able to fix the effect by using Ether Signet twice, but once again the game would not let me cast spells until I had 1 energy more than the spell requirements. 24.149.28.230 17:57, 31 May 2007 (CDT)

His Bones???[]

It says the spear was made from his bones? How? He has been turned to jade. TheDrunkenHobo 17:42, 16 August 2007 (CDT)

So what should I say about the urn of Saint Victor? Contains his ashes, even though he too was turn to Jade. So what, does the pot contain crumbled jade bits? From what you said, guess so. --Lann 18:10, 16 August 2007 (CDT)

Glitch[]

Has anyone had a glitch in Sunjiang District where you got 2 spears? Im not sure how it happened but when it turned into Surpreme Spear of Archemorus while it was on the ground, a duplicate appeared on the ground. If needed i can put up a screenshot. or video. 72.242.181.158 10:35, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
