Can anyone think of a category name for those floating squishy eye thingies? :) Wind Riders, Storm riders and the third kind do we callthem "Riders" or what? --Karlos 23:12, 21 Aug 2005 (EST)

Riders is a good a name as any. I certainly don't know what else to call them. =) --Rainith 23:14, 21 Aug 2005 (EST)
The third kind is called "Storm Kin". The official Prima game guide calls the category "Windriders". --Tetris L 01:51, 22 Aug 2005 (EST)
Not so sure about the official guide being our standard. There is also the "Breeze Keepers" in that category. --Karlos 02:15, 22 Aug 2005 (EST)
I sure as hell hope it's not our standard or role model, because it's full of errors! But ... it's the official guide and SOME of the information inside has been given to Prima by ANet. And the list of foes is probably from ANet, although it is incomplete. --Tetris L 02:39, 22 Aug 2005 (EST)

The name of the article should be in singular. --Tetris L 02:08, 22 Aug 2005 (EST)

Sub-Types and Skill Sets[]

I was under the impression, that there are two variations of Storm Riders, the type found in Eastern Ascalon and the one found north of the Wall. Don't these two variations have different skill sets, or at least different level? Also, I'm 100% sure that they have more skills than just Backfire. I'm in the office and can't check. Can anyone else launch GW and do a quick check? --Tetris L 21:41, 6 March 2006 (CST)

see my reasoning on Rider for the change in description --User:Aptaleon Griefhaven

They use Backfire, even with Sword and no Off-Hand-Item or no weapon equipped in Hard Mode. Kaede 08:42, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

They generally check your Profession in Proph, to my experience. --- Ohaider! -- (contribs) (talk) 09:14, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
