What actual part of the Sword is this? Both icons for this and the Sword Hilt seem to suggest that they are the grip, but it makes no sense that they both would be. Kaze 04:48, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
The pommel refers to the balance counter weight on the end of the sword, in this case the upgrade includes a picture of the grip. The hilt is the grip itself, although the picture incorrectly suggests that its the cross guard.--Łô√ë îğá†ħŕášħ is hosting a Card Creation Contest! 06:57, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
WP says the hilt is pommel+grip+guard. ANet probably took hilt as guard+grip (fits the image, which lacks a pommel), and the pommel as a separate item. --Vipermagi 09:26, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
Technically, the hilt refers collectively to everything that isn't the blade, including the pommel, but it seems like that isn't the definition that Anet is using. By their terminology, they are simply treating the pommel separately from the rest of the hilt. By the icons, though, it looks like the Sword Hilt includes the guard and the core of the grip, while the Sword Pommel includes the pommel itself and the leather covering for the grip. —Dr Ishmael 12:22, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
