The Tormented Lands respawn. So, if you grab the Lightbringer blessing, some powerful heroes and henchies, and stand on a spot where they spawn, you can wander off and eat or something and the Lightbringer points roll in! Not very fast, but requires no user input... -Ellisthion 20:41, 2 November 2006 (CST)

Well, they seem to have fixed this now - they removed the Whispers guy -Ellisthion 02:15, 8 November 2006 (CST)
The Whisper Informant comes back after you <*minor spoiler*> do the quest to kill all the tormented lands for good. --waywrong 22:43, 30 November 2006 (CST)

Oh yes, God forbid you should be able to exploit that and get some extra LB points!!! What a crime! Can't allow that lol.

I just killed a level 30 monster in this zone (Hard Mode) after I had killed about 6 or so of the tormented lands. It had the same model/skin as those guys and was also a warrior. It was called an "Earthen Abomination". It also respawned after about 2 minutes. I have a screenshot saved if you need proof of it. -- Keydet06 4/25/2007 14:27 EDT

Vanquishing[]

"(Total also varies according to how many Tormented Land spawns are required to kill before the Earthen Abomination appears; At this point you no longer need to kill any more Tormented Lands as they will no longer count towards the kill counter.)" I vanquished the area without killing any Tormented Land or Earthen Abomination. I think it only applies if you haven’t completed the quest connected to this. -Khan Reaper Kerensky 19:42, 3 July 2007 (CDT)

I just vanquished this area succesfully without triggering Battle of Turai's Procession, so I only had to kill 162 enemies although the quest was active. You just have to avoid the centaur army's place. Kaede 21:06, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
