A pile of Vanguard clothing by the northernmost bridge in Grothmar Wardowns. If you click on it it will say that numerous footprints heading south assuming that this was the squad of captive vanguard troops in the quest Against the Charr.

This tattered clothing bears the Vanguard symbol and colors. Dried blood covers the cloth, which seems to have been ripped and shredded by blades, teeth, and claws. Numerous footprints lead south, away from the clothing.
