I'm editing this to get it to have the skill names as they should be WITH spaces =) — Skuld 10:50, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

Meh, that just means more work. I would have to create template pages for each skill im using. I might get around to that later, but for now its easier to just match the bar name to the image name. It would be great if there was a way to link the picture to the skill, and not the page for the picture. | Chuiu 11:04, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

Yeh but I have done a lot for Template:Skill bar, it would be nice to keep them all standardised. And if the images are all with their proper names - Shadow of Fear.png eg PAGENAME can be used in skill pages =) — Skuld 13:37, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
If we can find a way to standardize it while not having to do extra work like "/images/thumb/2/26/Enfeeble.png/33px-Enfeeble.png", then I'm all for it, but as for right now I'm thinking of just using:
<span class="plainlinks">[SERVER{{localurl:{1}}}{1}.png]</span>
and hosting the images on my website. Hell maybe we should just switch to that and save GuildWiki some bandwith. | Chuiu 15:42, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
I don't think there's much hope of factoring that out, but of course anyone is welcome to try. Personally, I think I'd be in favor of slapping #REDIRECTs on the image pages for a site-wide solution (and living with the flaw of the image showing up at the top of the redirect). --Rezyk 20:34, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

I think, Skuld, for getting rid of the templates stuff. I was in the middle of adding the extra set of brackets but noticed I was late for work! | Chuiu 06:17, 25 February 2006 (CST)

I want to split this into this version being stuck at 28px and Template:Scalable skill bar having changable size as this is now slightly mis-named =) Skuld Monk 11:04, 25 April 2006 (CDT)

I changed the wiki code of this template to use the more generic template (aka scalable skill bar), no impact on the including pages' look. --Leonim 06:38, 27 September 2006 (CDT)

For some reason, with some skills (mainly elites), when I see this, I get the older version with the little squiggly outline along with the gold or black border. Any clue why this happens? --Gimmethegepgun 21:00, 30 May 2007 (CDT)

This template at GuildWiki[]

Oddly, this template produces - instead of " in a link (for shouts). So the:

"Watch Yourself!"

ultimately outputs:

{| cellpadding="1" cellspacing="0" style="border:solid black 1px; padding:0px;"
|

But the link produced is -Watch Yourself!- (as can be seen with):

"Watch Yourself!".jpg Optional.jpg Optional.jpg Optional.jpg Optional.jpg Optional.jpg Optional.jpg Optional.jpg

What's really odd though, is that this works perfectly on GW@W (example) - so it looks like it's a problem with GuildWiki. I'm puzzled on how to fix this. Any ideas? -- RandomTime 11:54, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

Best guess: in his WinFilenameFix extension, Ish forgot to account for the link parameter or there's a bug in doing so. I tried rearranging it in case the parser functions within the link were somehow causing the problem (as shown below), but that made no difference.

I've committed a fix to the repository. I'll poke Kaelten about pushing it live. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken.gif 14:57, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
