Template talk:User GFDL
Shouldn't this say "This user's contributions are also released under the GFDL" ?
As it read now, it implies that the user is trying to ignore the site's licence and only release their material under GFDL. Something that can't be done for older edits that were already released under by-nc-sa (can't revoke prior license), and new contributions of this type would just be deleted outright as being incompatible with collaborators using exclusively one or the other license. Inserting "also" clarifies that the contributions are under both licenses. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 14:57, 7 February 2007 (CST)
- I would have thought as much was implied; any contributions you make are released under by-nc-sa. If you think it's necessary then by all means add it, but I thought that it was implicit :) <LordBiro>/<Talk> 15:31, 7 February 2007 (CST)
- I agree that it should include the word "also". As it is with out it leaves room to interpretation. --Phoenix 17:53, 7 February 2007 (CST)
