Tower Mage (also referred to as Eternal Sigil Mage) is an Eternal wizard who in the service of Eternal Lord Taeres in the Fissure of Woe. During the quest Tower of Strength, players need to summon him from the Temple of War after they clear the area around the Tower of Strength. Once there, he will unlock the tower so that they can enter and destroy the Shadow Lord inside.
The Tower Mage will only appear if any party member takes the Tower of Strength quest. He is a good spawn in that area because he is a powerful monk who will aid in healing. The down side is that the party must make sure the south exit area is clear of the Shadow Mesmers and Shadow Monks that are usually there. If they stray into the temple, they will engage the Tower Mage and if he dies, like all Eternal allies, the party will be kicked out of the Fissure. However, most parties do clear that south exit on their way to doing the quest Restore the Temple of War.
