Feel free to delete this message any time you want. Just click Edit at the top of the page and wipe the page, same thing goes for your User Page. However, it is bad protocal to do that. It's not going to put you in trouble, but there's no reason to be ashamed of someone giving you advice. In time, there will be others saying thanks and "you rock" and so forth and this little bit of advice won't be the only thing gracing your talk page. So, I'd suggest you keep it, but it is your right to wipe the talk page if you need to. What most users do is they simply archive older stuff. You can see an example on my own talk page.
