Cape image

Since you seem to change guilds somewhat often, maybe you could just upload the cape image to a generic name like File:Ariyen guild cape.jpg or something, so you don't have to bother with a new filename every time. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken.gif 22:11, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

Hm, interesting thought. fixed. ty. Just haven't found a "home" yet. Ariyen 22:16, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply on my talk page - very nice and helpful

Suggestions =

ShmEk, May I suggest that you can always help us here with the Main page, by suggesting changes to the main page on Main Page/editcopy or the talk page there? Also, you can use my Schedule User:Ariyen/Schedule1 {{User:Ariyen/Schedule1}} on your homepage and link to that or my other Schedule User:Ariyen/Schedule {{User:Ariyen/Schedule}}. Just thought this might help. Ariyen 02:26, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

I greatly appreciate your comments here. I like the page setup you have with the schedules linked to it. I've always liked seeing a few days in advance (and behind actually too) on the different dailys. I use the mainpage for stuff all the time, but my first glance before going to game is the dailys, so I may likely be having to change to your schedule page. This same mainpage was proposed in the past and then changed to what we had for quite a long time.... now the bland less info design is back. Thanks again for you comments, and I do need to help with some input there. I'm not too hot with code, but I can manage somewhat. Best regards!--ShmEk 02:47, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Additionally, have you included the schedule in parenthesis as a possible page edit? I didn't know about the editcopy page so thanks again for directing me there :)--ShmEk 02:52, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Wow, the more I look at your first schedule......... it's great. Please propose that for the new mainpage so I don't have to just steal it and add it. Fine job! I'll definitely be using it. I can always click the guild wiki logo to go to the mainpage in the future I suppose. Yours is my new browser setting. Sad, about the nostalgia of it all having to move to a different page after 5 years, but usefulness prevails. Thanks again SO much for messaging about this!--ShmEk 02:59, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Added the Schedule in Parenthesis, so you could copy and paste on your own page at your convenience. I'm still trying to figure out how to change up that section to benefit and be more useful. I've come up with one idea, but kept hitting dead spots. Still thinking though, so I haven't given up. 05:40, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
If you like the index function of the Main Page and you want the daily forecast, use this on a userpage:
{{:Daily forecast}} (or one of Ariyen's if you prefer)
 {{:Main Page}}
That will transclude the schedule/forecast tables at the top, then transclude the Main Page below it. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken.gif 06:07, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

Java request

I have something "fun" that i'd like to post on my userspace, but it's in Java... :-( So dunno what title.js I should use, etc. or how to transfer it to the userspace... I feel so 'down' for not knowing enough in Java... My class that I took close to that... Only got to learn , dos, and this microsoft crap... I learned html on my own, with the help of "papers" from the teacher... Know a little bit of css on my own... but yea the class that was suppose to teach the "basics" never did... teacher mostly stayed in the room, only to come out with "stories" and urged us to work on computers, and read the books on our own... Books were mostly on networking and operating systems and the "cirriculum" was supposedly as if there was to be more... So, I'm stuck... Ariyen 23:06, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

If it's actually JavaScript, then you can put it in Special:Mypage/monobook.js. It'll run everywhere on the wiki, and only for you. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken.gif 23:50, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
Thank you! Ariyen 03:26, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
It works! :-D I'm ponied . ^.^ Ariyen 03:27, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
K, in case anyone was wondering. I went here and gotten a my little pony. You can pick any you want, etc. and put them on any site. Been trying to put it on my blog, but I'm not an "advanced" member, so I can't edit the part of my blog, where it'd go. :-( Thankful i it works here. I have the link in the browser to let her out on any site, but I prefer to not have to click that link so much. ;-) Ariyen 03:33, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

AFK When Needed

Please respect his wishes not to be contacted. As your friend, I would appreciated it if you do not contact him at all. As a beaurucrat, I am asking you nicely, once, to stop contacting him on this wiki, thru the wiki email, or on the wiki's irc channel.--Łô√ë Gigathrash sig G.jpgîğá†ħŕášħ 12:14, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

I understand, but I was not commenting at him at all, but only giving a suggestion to Arnout. I cannot do this on his page? I find that being "helpful" for someone else, henders a selfish one. You understand? I'm not even wanting to talk to one that doesn't wnat to listen anyway, but still. It's best just to leave alone a harmless comment. It's stupid and silly to remove it, despite he personally doesn't want it. It's not directed at him at all, but a response to Arnout. It's silly to have to "create" a page on Arnout's talk just to answer the same things that's being said on his own. To me, I'd just put up with it. You I have on those on my talk that I wanted to have left me alone. I'm not "selfish". Please consider this, before leaving a message. ty. 18:18, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
Sending you a message giga to further clarify the "bureaucracy" that's being caused for really "no reason" except over stupid and silly things. Please read this message, before a response. Ty. Ariyen 18:35, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

As I stated on ishmael's talk

You're not assuming good faith, if you feel it's questionable then make a new character and draw him into other naga. 09:11, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

I used new and old characters... I've not see him attack the others. I just think this is something to take to here. I am assuming good faith as I have seen that same boss on 4 accounts over the past 3 days... doing those quests for cny. It doesn't even have that note on gww nor have any others mentioning it... You could open a ticket with support, but either way... It's best to determine the truth and that's why I'm suggestiong at least the forum, if not that then support. Please don't use this wiki as a scratchpad. There are other websites to serve that purpose, like pastebin. (I don't really know what you were doing with that page, so just treat this as a reminder.) —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken.gif 01:07, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

Sorry. :-S Was tempted to add it to the poetry ones already here, but decided against that. Two here is enough. My apologies. Ariyen 01:24, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
Btw, it wasn't a "Scribble", but another poem. You can read (if you want), this to see what the actual "wording" ("warble" as you call it) was. It showed up appropriately in preview, but I had forgotten the <br> and it'd looked accurate. I just decided "not" to host the poem here in the end. :-) I don't do pastebin, that's stealing artwork of creatives like stories and poems really. I prefer against them. Though if you don't want me to post any poems or stories at all on here. Just let me know, I can remove them and link to them else where. Ariyen 03:59, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

You should hate me because I'm better than you.

An older friend of mine created this, and as a parent who enjoys the show, I was wondering your opinion on it. --Łô√ë Gigathrash sig G.jpgîğá†ħŕášħ 17:52, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
