Suggestion: old skills versions[]

Hi Githyan!

I am amazed nobody has welcomed you to the wiki yet, seeing as you've been contributing on and off for quite some time now.

I've read your suggestion about old skills versions, and it seems very similar to Suggestions/skills history. It seems to me that they could (should?) both be discussed together. Would you mind if I put your suggestion on that page? (You could do it yourself, of course.)

After seeing no reply for almost a week, I performed the merge — your suggestion is still there, but on the other page. Happy editing! --◄mendel► 14:26, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm Back[]

ive started playing GW more recently, and jumped through a bunch of loops to unlock this account so i can edit again. Githyan 01:34, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

I am planning to go around fixing some of the similar skills sections, as with the recent dervish overhaul a lot of them no longer apply. Githyan 01:37, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

RC makes that a trivial accomplishment :P Also, a nitpick; new comments go on the bottom of the page :) --Vipermagi 16:48, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
Wb! And indeed, as Viper said, RC... I usually check every talk page with more than 1 edit in a short timespan. --TalkpageEl_Nazgir 09:17, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

Nice hobby[]

I see you like Thread Necromancy! --TalkpageEl_Nazgir 17:17, 10 July 2011 (UTC)

thats a good name for it, is there a userbox for that anywhere? Githyan 18:15, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
Hmm, none that I know of... I'd make one myself, but.... Perhaps tomorrow! :D
Also, I got that term from my brother. Seems to be an old forum-term for posting in old threads. --TalkpageEl_Nazgir 18:18, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
beat you too it, see my user page. Githyan 00:18, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
Damn, that's cool one! --TalkpageEl_Nazgir 08:05, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Are mostly just regular pages that we include into other pages for consistency and ease. All of the mainspace templates have the prefix Template: to defirentiate them from other pages, but any page can be templated by including a regular link in {{}} tags instead of [[]] tags. Some templates have variables that one can insert when templating a page by including a {{{1}}} in the template code itself, which will then accept the first text entered inside the {{}} tags after the name of a template separated by a pipe (|). IE, to template in a page as is, I would type something like {{User:Gigathrash/Userboxes}}. If I want to add changes in the template where variables exist, I would use this: {{User:Gigathrash/Smite|Subject name here|Subject home town here}}.

Which ends up looking like †††Subject name here†††Subject home town here†††

As opposed to †††SMITED!†††The power of christ compels you!††† which is what happens when you do not solve for variables.--Łô√ë Gigathrash sig G.jpgîğá†ħŕášħ 06:02, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
