This is a fun thing to do, when you got nothing to do :D. Readem (talk*contribs) 09:42, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

I agree. --Rollerzerris.jpg <!--Zerris--> 17:04, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

EWW SKILL. I no like this skill, i have no room on any of my skill bars for tis one, GOLE BUILD FTW--Stevo101 15:44, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

Ouch Skuld has leet RV abilites, SKULD REVERT PLEZ--Stevo101 20:43, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

This skill really is just low on the overall effectiveness level for an elite skill. It's just not all that dangerous in most situations. Might work in a hex heavy team though, and if the other team doesn't have DH... lol. --Lania ElderfireMy Talk 22:12, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

What Lania said. Use some non-elites like Soothing, Signet of Rage, Soothing Images, Sympathetic Visage, Blackout. Or use Signet of Midnight >.> Entropy Sig.jpg (T/C) 20:23, 25 April 2007 (CDT)

Synergizes well with skills that force the use of adrenaline skills, Spirit Shackles being a prime example. --Rollerzerris.jpg <!--Zerris--> 17:01, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

PVP or PVE?[]

PvP. In PvE you should just use Empathy or something, monsters are too stupid to counter it. In PvP Warriors are actually dangerous enough to waste an elite like this countering them...though I can see it also being used on a Bladed Aatxe to counter Riposte. Still poor all around imo...organized PvP doesn't need a Mesmer running this. Take anti-caster elite or take another anti-Warrior Mesmer elite...can't think of any at the moment but I know there are some. Entropy Sig.jpg (T/C) 20:23, 25 April 2007 (CDT)

I say it's a warrior, being haunted by the face of somebody he killed. --Rollerzerris.jpg <!--Zerris--> 17:00, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

It's used by the Evil Mime. Now tell me, why on earth does a Mime not have Vow of Silence? Stupid ArenaNet... --Rollerzerris.jpg <!--Zerris--> 17:03, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

Testing will now commence! Readem (talk*contribs) 22:47, 28 April 2007 (CDT)

Glyph of Lesser Energy.jpg Spirit Shackles.jpg Visions of Regret.jpg Mind Wrack.jpg Complicate.jpg Web of Disruption.jpg Drain Delusions.jpg Resurrection Signet.jpg

  • Domination - 12 + 1 + 1...3
  • Inspiration - 9 + 1
  • Fast Casting - 9 + 1

Usage:Glyph of Lesser Energy --> Spirit Shackles --> Visions of Regret. Mind Wrack as cover hex +dmg when they keep attacking, due to Spirit Shackles. Spirit Shackles forces use of Adrenaline and Signet skills only. Complicate eliminates Signets. Web of Disruption --> Drain Delusions for a nice double interrupt and energy steal. Intended for PvP useage. --Rollerzerris.jpg <!--Zerris--> 16:59, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

Not bad. Mine is coming soon, too bad yours features most of the skills I would have picked.—Cheese.jpg Cheese Slaya (Talk) 18:58, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
Also: Ignorance pwns Complicate. I was thinking something like this:

Glyph of Lesser Energy.jpg Spirit Shackles.jpg Visions of Regret.jpg Mind Wrack.jpg Ignorance.jpg Power Return.jpg Wastrel's Worry.jpg Resurrection Signet.jpg

  • Domination - 12 + 1 + 1
  • Inspiration - 9 + 1 +
  • Fast Casting - 9 + 1

  • Wastrel's worry can be switched with Diversion or Soothing Images.—Cheese.jpg Cheese Slaya (Talk) 19:02, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
Funny. I thought of Wastrel's too, but decided the energy cost was unpayable. Soothing Images actually hurts the build. Diversion has the same Energy Cost problem. And the reason I prefer Complicate to Ignorance is that it can't be removed or stopped, it just is. Also thought of Power Return, but decided I prefered my Web of Disruption --> Drain Delusions combo. --Rollerzerris.jpg <!--Zerris--> 19:07, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
Wasn't thinkin bout soothing:D—Cheese.jpg Cheese Slaya (Talk)

Resurrection Chant.jpg Spirit Shackles.jpg Visions of Regret.jpg Mind Wrack.jpg Ignorance.jpg Power Return.jpg Wastrel's Worry.jpg Channeling.jpg

  • Domination - 12 + 1 + 1
  • Inspiration - 6 + 1
  • Fast Casting - 11 + 1

--Stevo101 19:54, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

Empathy.jpg Reckless Haste.jpg Parasitic Bond.jpg Spirit of Failure.jpg Visions of Regret.jpg Power Drain.jpg Price of Failure.jpg Resurrection Signet.jpg

  • Domination - 12 + 1 + 1
  • Inspiration - 7 + 1
  • Fast Casting - 8 + 1
  • Curses - 8
  • NOTE: I think this might be somewhat effective in GvG with a lot of warrior hate... but it is such a one trick pony where other one trick ponies does it much better.

--Lania ElderfireMy Talk 22:03, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

Do the words "Casting Time" mean nothing to you? By my math it takes 12.5 seconds to cast your full bar of hexes. By that time, one of you is dead, and the battle is already over. And yes, I did include Fast Casting. --Rollerzerris.jpg <!--Zerris--> 22:13, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
Not to mention with all that anitmelee they'll never gain adrenaline, just taking damage doesn't fuel your adrenaline enough.—Cheese.jpg Cheese Slaya (Talk) 23:34, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
Eh... 12.5 seconds in a GvG is nothing. If you can unload your entire bar on two or three warriors in 12.5 seconds, you're faster than average, tbh (obviously you wouldn't throw them *all* on the same warrior, since that'd leave their other warrior free to smash people's faces in). -Auron My Talk 23:37, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
Yeah heh... like auron said, who ever said to unload all of it at once especially at just one warrior? Coordinate with your other team mates, especially in a hex heavy team as to not stack hexes that conflict... ie. faintheartedness and empathy etc. Remember it's GvG --Lania ElderfireMy Talk 23:58, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

12 +3+1 Domination Magic, 9 +1 Inspiration Magic, 9 Smiting Prayers, 3 +1 Fast Casting

Spirit Shackles.jpg Ignorance.jpg Visions of Regret.jpg Signet of Rage.jpg Bane Signet.jpg Revealed Enchantment.jpg Hex Eater Signet.jpg Mantra of Inscriptions.jpg
  • Usage:
    • maintain 8.
    • 1,2, wait for charge, 6 if needed, 3,4.
    • 5 and 7 as needed.
    • Bane Signet is wild.
  • Advantages:
    1. Encourage adrenaline by blocking everything else.
    2. signets mean low energy use.
  • Detriments:
    1. Warrior & Paragon only, and not all of them.
    2. not a lot of energy management, and chain is expensive and repeatable (visions is limiting factor)
    3. 9 pts is a lot for two skills. consider Smite Hex instead of Hex Eater Signet for a better value, or Accumulated Pain & Images of Remorse to reinvest. --Honorable Sarah Honorable Icon.gif 02:11, 25 April 2007 (CDT)

Red thumbs down.png This User:Skuld|skull has been voted as Less Able to Make Effective (LAME).

Several users of GuildWiki have formed a consensus that this User:Skuld|skull sucks and badly needs an update from Anet.

This User:Skuld|skull was voted as lame for the following reasons:

  • noob haxz and mediocre AoE.

I nominate Scavenger's Focus. Entropy Sig.jpg (T/C) 20:23, 25 April 2007 (CDT)

I'd nominate Keystone Signet but we all know that wouldn't turn anything up. So I nominate HaO --Gimmethegepgun 20:51, 25 April 2007 (CDT)
HaO should replace Comfort Animal, duh. Pure Beastmaster doesn't need an elite imo...Ferocious Strike is meh, RaO is for thumpers, SaO sucks still, Enraged Lunge is pretty decent but allows for less defensive buffs. The other BM elites are... ehh... Entropy Sig.jpg (T/C) 20:56, 25 April 2007 (CDT)
I agree with that. I don't really like the other BM elites, they don't really do a whole lot more for you than non-elite pet attacks will. <rant> You shouldn't be needing Ferocious if you're going pure BM since you'll have extremely large expertise, Enraged Lunge is fun to watch a dire pig or something maul someone for 100+ damage, but that's about it, since you gotta keep everything else recharging or it'll be awful. RaO... Call of Haste :D Anyway, I love my beastmaster, though it would be terrible if it weren't for the new pet controls. Finally ANet does something RIGHT! Too bad they nerfed Bestial Mauling because of it :( </rant> --Gimmethegepgun 21:04, 25 April 2007 (CDT)

1. (Tie) Zerris Score:95 (35+20+40)

Reasons:Drain Delusion+ Wb= ftw. Complicate is < than Ignorance.

Cheese Slaya Score: (40+15+40)

Reasons: Skills very good synergy, like Ignorance better then Complicate.

2.Honorable Sarah Score:90 (35+15+40)

Reasons: Very Unique, the only thing I didn't like was Bane Signet. Didn't seem to fit in the bar O.o...

3.Stevo101 Me/Mo Score:85 (35+15+35)

Reasons: Much Better, a few skills didn't quite fit though.

4.Stevo101 Me/any Score:75 (30+15+30)

Reasons: Not the greatest of synergy dude, sorry.

5.Lania Elderfire Score:70 (25+15+30)

Reasons: Sorry Lania, but I found that Warriors would simply stop attacking+ I had very little energy.

You didn't use this in PvP anything other than GvG did you? Since that is what this was designed for to keep warriors from pressuring the monks or softies in GvG. Yes if you used it in RA this does fail. --Lania ElderfireMy Talk 12:12, 30 April 2007 (CDT)
