Item Listing

Sorry, but we don't list generic drops such as gold on monsters "Items Dropped" list. Thanks anyways. Rsz PLSig.jpg 01:42, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Standards

Hmm, I just wanted to welcome you to the wiki, but I guess I'd be a year late. So, nice to see someone else reads the W3 standards. Our MediaWiki version creates XHTML 1.0 Transitional pages, and we use CSS 2.0 with that, I believe. You can peruse GuildWiki:Editing guide for an overview of wikicode (it makes tables much simpler, but you can still add the settinsg you would have put into the tags), and look in the S&F index on the right in that article to find more info, including a page on our custom CSS classes. Help:Contents is also available, but I haven't read most of that. I have read all of Forum:Coding, though. ;-) Now if you should have any questions... and I'll answer the first one, no, you definitely do NOT have to read all that. :-P Happy editing! --◄mendel► 03:40, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

"Armor" galleries

To show all the different dyes on the Festive Winter Hood, I would recommend a consolidated "dye chart" image like Jester's Cap or Dragon Mask have. Also, I'd like to refer you to our style guidelines for "armor" screenshots. Specifically, your images appear to have post-processing effects turned on and don't seem to be at a very high resolution. (If your resolution is limited by your hardware, don't worry about it.) If you could follow those guildelines to improve your screenshots, we'd really appreciate it. Thanks for helping! —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken.gif 05:11, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

The new images look good, thanks again! —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken.gif 15:29, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

talk pages

Standard practice here is that we do not edit other users' comments on talk pages, except for wiki maintenance (e.g. updating links to pages that have moved, formatting/display issues, etc.). This includes generally benign edits like fixing typos. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken.gif 23:20, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Understood. I won't do it again. Thought it was the right things to do. Separ 05:14, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

I've had both my talk page comments and my userpage edited by others in the past. I've never minded. The point the Doctor was making is that some people do mind, and their wishes should be respected. My point is he's technically right, but we know you meant well and a lot of people (like me) don't have a problem with it.
While I'm here, just a quick reminder about indentation, if you don't mind. Generally people indent comments to make it easier to follow a discussion. It works like this;
I start a section.
:You respond, beginning each new paragraph (not sentence) with a colon.
::I or someone else responds, adding two colons. And so on. Basically, each comment has one colon more than the previous message. This resets at the beginning of each section (and as a matter of judgement in long sections where the indention becomes excessive).
I know wikis can sometimes be a little overwhelming, but these two edits will probably be the last time someone points something out to you. You seem to know ~everything there is to know now! :) Now all we need is someone to vandalize your userpage as a rite of passage... Shush Afk, I never had mine vandalised... OK, maybe you did, but I think I reverted you most of the times :P -- El Nazgir sig.png El_Nazgir 17:11, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

So do I. Hello! I've never had my talkpage vandalized, but someone made edits on my userpage, right at the beginning. Arnout aka The Emperors Angel 12:12, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
