Notes
- Virulence is popular with Mesmers/Necromancers, see Build:Me/N Virulence Spiker.
- If playing pure necro, you can set this skill up with Enfeeble, Enfeebling Blood, or Enfeebling Touch to give the target Weakness then follow with Virulence to add Poison and Disease.
- Virulence works well with Warrior/Necromancers using attack skills that cause conditions, such as Sever Artery, Gash, and Dismember. Its cost of 5 energy allows even Warriors to cast it with no problem. Beware using Virulence on human enemies in melee range, however, as Disease can spread back to you.
- This skill was able to be captured during the Factions Preview from the boss Mukesh the Merciless.
- Can be powerful if combined with Animate Shambling Horror because jagged horrors cause bleeding.
