Full: For 5 seconds, target foe is hexed with Wastrel's Demise. Each second while hexed, target foe and all foes adjacent to that foe take 1...8...10 damage and an additional 1...8...10 damage for each second this spell is in effect. This hex ends prematurely if target foe uses a skill.
Concise: (5 seconds.) Each second while hexed, target foe and all foes adjacent to that foe take 1...8...10 damage. Foes take +1...8...10 damage each second this hex is in effect. Ends early if target foe uses a skill.
Apply snares to the area around the target or nearby foes to force them to remain in the effect area.
If this hex is re-applied on a foe before its normal expiration, the duration will be refreshed to 5 seconds and the DoT multiplier will continue to increment, but it will reset to 1x when the original duration would have expired. It is therefore inefficient to spam this hex on recharge; instead, wait the full 5 seconds for the first application to wear off.
This spell is especially effective on pets, minions, and other opponents that otherwise cannot activate skills.
Anomaly! The animation for this skill's activation seems to always point north on the in-game compass.
