Requirements

• Level 20
• Have Eye of the North Expansion.
• Must not have completed I Feel the Earth Move Under Cantha's Feet or Hole of Istan.

Preliminary Dialogue "Did you feel the earth shake, [Name]? I was working my fields when the ground began to quake furiously, sort of like my wife does when I leave my dirty socks on the dining room table.... Suddenly, the dirt around me swelled up and collapsed, leaving a giant crevasse in its place. I thought I heard voices, so I looked inside for survivors. I couldn't make out any faces but swear I saw shapes moving in the dust-filled darkness. I ran as fast as I could. Please, you must go back and investigate this catastrophe!"

Accept: "I will investigate this crevasse, farmer."

Reject: "I could say something obnoxious here, but instead I'll just say no."

Walkthrough

This quest marks the start of the Guild Wars Eye of the North Sneak Peek Weekend, and most likely the same starting point in the release. Head north out of Lion's Arch and head towards the quest marker. At the quest location, click the marker labeled 'Explore the crevasse'. This will transport you to Beneath Lion's Arch.

Upon arrival, make your way through the constructs. You will encounter a few groups of foe, consisting of level 16 Hellhounds, a new enemy, the Hellhound Keeper and a number of level 12 and 13 Skeleton Monks and Skeleton Sorcerers. These should be no tough job to beat at level 20. Eventually you will encounter Ogden Stonehealer and his dwarves. A cut scene will play, during which you meet your first Asura, Vekk.

Following the cut scene, you will be given 3 minutes to escape the area. Follow Ogden; he will lead you to the exit. You will be chased by level 28 Destroyers, but you will not need to fight them. Keep following Ogden and you should escape unscathed. He will lead you to the gate. Follow him through and you will be transported to Boreal Station.

Note: Ogden and Vekk may be killed by the Destroyers, you won't fail the mission.

Follow-up

• Upon completion of the quest players will find themselves in: Boreal Station.
• To continue the storyline, complete quest Against the Destroyers.

Notes

The undead fought during this quest drop Undead Bones rather than Decayed Orr Emblems.
