Description
Willa the Unpleasant is one of the mostly aptly named bosses in the game. As an effective monk boss, who is always paired with a boss of another profession, Willa can be a handful to take out.

Defeating Willa the Unpleasant can be extremely difficult if players are not prepared. He is an extremely powerful healing monk and can take several minutes of pure hitting and spell-casting just to take down. He will be paired with another boss, and, depending on where he spawns in the mission, he may also be defended by non-boss enemies.
It is important to be prepared for Willa, for he may spawn in a location where you may not be able to just run past him. Here are some tips:
- Divert Willa's healing spells, or use Backfire to inflict massive amounts of damage once Willa starts spamming spells such as Orison of Healing. Keep in mind that hexes last for only half as long on bosses: this can make timing Diversion tricky. Consider echoing it.
- For those who own Factions, combining Arcane Thievery and Arcane Larceny is likely (though not guaranteed) to strip Willa of at least one important spell. Otherwise, Arcane Thievery alone might deny him of Orison of Healing or Aura of Faith.
- Competent use of Power Block can shut Willa down.
- Defile Flesh or Lingering Curse can reduce the effectiveness of Willa's healing spells to the point where he can barely heal any of your inflicted damage.
- Instead of removing Willa's Aura of Faith with an expensive enchantment stripping skill, simply inflict a condition such as poison or a cheap hex (such as Parasitic Bond), and Willa will remove it himself with Contemplation of Purity.
- Energy denial is an effective strategy as Willa tends to spam his spells.
- Clear the area of all other enemies before tackling the bosses. Use the environment to your advantage: lure one of the bosses away and use body blocking to prevent his return.
- If Willa has another boss with him, consider taking out the other boss first. Willa is not strong enough to take out your monks, but the other boss might be.
- Willa is very easy to kill if you daze him. Since Orison of Healing and Aura of Faith both have cast times of 1 second, putting dazed on him isn't hard. With eight players hitting him he will never get a heal off, and dies quickly.
