- "What destruction have the demons wrought during my imprisonment? Unable to respond to my Master's directives, I allowed many spirits to be sent to the wrong fate. Even now, new spirits are coming to my village. Spirits never meant for this place. Like so many of the dead, they will be hateful and full of malice. You must eliminate these Wrathful Spirits before they destroy those who have come to find their rightful resting place within the Forgotten Vale."

Walkthrough
The Forgotten Vale is the area south of this reaper. To get to the reaper, your party probably cleared all the Grasping Darknesses and Coldfire Nights that were in the area.
As soon as you take the quest, the Wrathful Spirits will spawn, but they are called Tortured Spirits, just like the NPCs you have to defend (of course they are red and the others are green). They are low in level (15), but use Illusionary Weaponry with an Illusion Attribute level of 14 (i.e. they do 38 points of armor penetrating damage per hit). You want to avoid a group of 3 ganging up on one target due to the huge amount of damage they can do.
Defend the nearest villagers well as the farther ones will probably be wiped out before you get to them. After wiping out all groups (there is one group atop a hill overlooking the reaper), return the reaper for your reward.
If you are trying to charm a Black Widow for a pet you'll want to keep the charmer near the reaper before you kill the last group as the Black Widow will tend to run off fairly quickly and will disappear unless someone is able to get a charm animal off in time. You only need to activate it in range before the Black Widow will turn around and come towards you hostily like any other pet would during a charm attempt.
