Classification

Profession: Storage
Level(s): 24

General

Xunlai Chests provide direct access to the "Storage" Vault Box. Unlike Xunlai Agents they do not offer the ability to open or extend a storage account.

Although they are inanimate objects, game mechanics treat them as NPCs.

In the Realm of Torment, these chests are called Storage Chests as they were once also called Xunlai Chests.

Dialogue

  • If your character has not opened a storage account:

"This vault is sealed by Xunlai magic. There is an inscription on the lid that reads: Talk to a Xunlai Agent to activate your storage account today!"

Notes

  • As of the April 5th, 2007 update, Xunlai Agents were replaced with Xunlai Chests in the Realm of Torment and The Desolation to keep with the lore of the inhospitable nature of these regions.
  • As of the June 15th, 2007 update, to access an account's storage window, there is no need to talk to the Xunlai Agent to do so anymore. Simply click on the chest to open your storage. Talking to the Xunlai Agent will now bring up a window with the options to upgrade your storage account (if you have not done so yet), open your storage, or cancel the transaction.
  • Surprisingly enough, a Xunlai Chest is nine levels higher than a Xunlai Agent.
